Our History


ORBIS is established by major Japanese cosmetics brand, POLA.


Upon the discovery that oxidation of oil causes skin trouble, we release our first OIL FREE skincare series, based on technology focused on moisturising the skin in an “all-water environment”.


We introduce our “Simple & Minimal Packaging” to reduce waste and save resources while ensuring superior quality at the same time. In the following year, we go on to adopt refill pack offerings.


We release the CLEAR series, inspired by our customers’ concerns towards adult acne. It’s popularity continues today with cumulative sales exceeding 34 million units* since launch.

We release our first meal replacement product - ORBIS PETIT SHAKE, combining nutritional balance and delicious taste in one.

In 2015, we won an award* for the PETIT SHAKE, Fresh Strawberry Flavour.

We release the AQUA FORCE series, based on a "moisture barrier formula" for long-lasting moisture.

2002 -

We begin afforestation efforts at Mount Fuji, Fiji Islands and other areas.

2005 - 2013

We expand our presence within Asia to Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Singapore as the latest addition.

2011 - 2014

We attain 1st place in Japan's largest customer satisfaction survey* for four consecutive years.

We discover that inner beauty enzymes are best activated in an ‘all-water environment‘ and release the ORBIS=U series, combining OIL FREE with HSP (Heat Shock Protein) which won us multiple awards in the product and packaging categories.
